The Breakfast Club at Bethany is a co-operative effort between our church, Sudaby Public School and our community.

It involves feeding local children breakfast each school day during term time. Porridge, Cheerios, milk, eggs are all on the menu, so that all children of Sudaby Public School (across the street from Bethany) can arrive with full bellies. Behaviour problems were noted with some children in the Kids' Club and it soon became evident that quite a number of children were arriving at school on a regular basis without having had breakfast. This leads to short attention spans, challenging behaviour and encourages food theft and bullying.
